The Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour is this Sunday from 10am - 5pm
A treasure trove of gardens are open to the public for this free, self-guided tour. This is my 6th year showing gardens on the tour.
Online registration is closed, but you can still attend with walk-in registration. The garden I designed for Jenn and Joan is on the tour and is one of the registration sites. Start there and then go on up the street to the garden I designed for Tai and Michael that is also on the tour.
I would love to share these gardens with you and will be at Jenn and Joan's Garden from 10am - 1:30pm and will then go to Tai and Michaels from 1:30pm - 5pm.
Joan Lohman and Jenn Biehn’s garden
3897 Whittle Avenue, Oakland
Heading east on I-580 take the Fruitvale exit, turn left onto Fruitvale, and continue .4 miles. When you see Dimond Park on your left, Fruitvale turns sharp right. Take that right and stay on Fruitvale. Fruitvale turns into Whittle; turn left to stay on Whittle; the house is on the left.
Heading west on I-580 take exit 23 for Coolidge Ave. toward Fruitvale Ave. Merge onto Montana St. and go .3 miles, then turn right onto Champion St., continue onto Lincoln Ave., and go .4 miles. Turn left onto Wilbur; the house will be directly ahead, at the corner of Whittle and Wilbur.
Looking forward to a beautiful day in the gardens, hope to see you there!
